Knightstown Chamber of Commerce

As you enjoy the hometown charm of our small community, you may want to visit the Old Hoosier Gym, take a ride on the historic CKS Railroad, look for antique treasures or enjoy many activities at Boondocks Farms with its 125 acres of fun! 

Henry County Visitor’s Center

Henry County is located approximately forty minutes east of downtown Indianapolis and offers a wide variety of activities. The county population is approximately 50,124 and the county seat is New Castle with a population of 20,524. Middletown and Knightstown follow in size and population.

Wilbur Wright Birthplace

As curators of his birthsite, our mission is to educate the public by preserving and interpreting the life, family, and achievements of Wilbur Wright.

The Hoosier Gym

Not far off U.S. 40 you’ll find it. A gymnasium that was built by a community, for a community. For more that 80 years, it’s been home to generations of basketball players – standing the test of time.

Just 18 miles and a straight shot from the campground, in Anderson.  Whether you’re looking for cocktails, live racing, shows or a place to watch sports, there’s always something to do.

Antiques

The Original Knightstown Antique Mall is located at 136 West Carey Street. Just 3 blocks north of U.S. 40 (Main Street). We are just 30 minutes East of Indianapolis via U.S. 40 or Exit 115 off of I-70. With 1/2 of a city block full of antiques, you are bound to find what you are looking for! Ample parking available. 

Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Museum

The State of Indiana and basketball are a perfect fit. From Hoosiers like Wooden, Robertson, Plump, Bird, and Bailey; to the thousands of youngsters who pick up their first basketballs at age two or three, basketball is a sport that’s at the very core of life in Indiana. In Indiana, basketball is much more than just a game! 

New Castle Raceway

NCMP is home to the Kart Racers of America, a club racing kart organization with 14 races a year with events averaging over 200 entries. NCMP also hosts the Stars of Karting National Tour, SKUSA Shifter Kart Series as well as WKA National and Divisional Karting Championships, local club events and special events throughout the year.

American MotoGP star Colin Edwards is starting his eighth season in the premier class of worldwide motorcycle racing Sunday, April 11 at the Grand Prix of Qatar, with new teammate and fellow Texan and friend Ben Spies on the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team. 

Indianapolis Children’s Museum

Featuring the largest permanent sculpture of blown glass by renowned artist Dale Chihuly, this 43-foot-tall tower rises above a glass ceiling.Learn how glass blowers create their fantastic works of art.
