Our Gem Mine

Our recreation of an 1860’s Gold Camp is complete with a 16ft sleuth and 6 ft x 10 ft sorting box for those who are looking to strike it rich.  We offer bags of sand with many gemstone, fossil, sea shell and arrowhead treasures for your little ones to discover.

The Montgomery creek that runs through the park is known for gold.  Anyone can try his or her luck in finding the mother lode.  Gold Panners may use high-bankers and manual sleuth boxes.  Gas powered sleuth boxes and dredgers are prohibited.
