ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Lead and instruct activities in an organized safe environment
- Prepare for each activity well in advance
- Clean up after each event
- Handle Bear and maintain costumes with extra care
- Coordinate with Ranger Station on scheduling of Bear encounters
- Decorate Rec Center for theme weekends
- Keep activity area neat and organized at all times
- Assist in other areas when needed
- Wear approved attire at work

- Neatly clean and prepare rental units for guests in a timely manner
- Neatly clean restrooms and porta johns
- Wash and fold rags as needed
- Clean guest laundry room
- Keep storage room organized and clean after each use

- Take reservations in polite and friendly manner
- Answer phone in a professional manner
- Check voicemail and return calls, as needed
- Check guests out with store merchandise
- Keep store shelves stocked and clean
- Keep food coolers stocked and clean
- Sweep and mop store, as needed
- Check guests in and out on campsites/rental units
- Answer questions and provide assistance to guests
- Book birthday parties and Bear experiences
- Assist in other campground functions as needed
- Wear approved attire at work
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, activity schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with all types of customers in a professional manner.
